At Core Civic, we are looking for a Correctional Officer who is dedicated to providing the highest quality care in a secure facility. Immediate openings are available.

$24.39 per hour
Updated sign‑on bonus up to $5,000 for COTA certified with >1 year experience.
Sign‑on bonus up to $8,000 between July 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025.

Must be willing to work at Red Rock or La Palma.

• Maintain order and security of inmates in a correctional facility.
• Work any shift and be assigned to posts such as armory/key control, housing units, kitchen, medical, visitation, etc.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures.
• Employ necessary weapons or force to maintain discipline and order.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Available to work any hour, any shift.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Completion of any required training.
