$24.39 / per hour

Updated Sign-on Bonus up to $8,000 for COTA certified with more than a year's experience (January 1 - June 30, 2026).

Must be willing to work at Red Rock or La Palma.

• Maintain order and security of inmates in a correctional facility.
• Supervise inmates during housing, meals, recreation, work assignments and all other phases of activity.
• Enforce discipline and order, using weapons or force as necessary.
• Work any shift and be assigned to posts such as armory/key control, housing units, kitchen, medical, visitation, etc.
• Support and represent the military service community; veterans encouraged to apply.

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to complete all required training.
• Available to work any hours, any shift.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience in criminal justice or related field (core Civic recognizes military service to qualify).
