Plant Inventory Control Associate

The team member in this position accurately maintains daily, weekly, and monthly inventory levels in the WMS while maintaining proper inventory rotation and storage.

Essential Functions
  • Navigates an advanced ERP system to execute all daily aspects of inbound and outbound inventory operations.
  • Creates purchase orders (pallets, air gas, etc.)
  • Processes all recycle and destruction loads.
  • Ensures finished goods, raw materials, and sub‑assembly components are maintained per established guidelines.
  • Processes all non‑conforming material in Agile.
  • Coordinates inbound receipts, intercompany transfers, and RMAs with all involved parties.
  • Verifies true‑time inventory transaction records in the company’s ERP system.
  • Completes Oracle transaction activities from receiving into inventory, WIP, or non‑conforming inventories.
  • Performs daily audits and maintains a comprehensive cycle‑count program to ensure inventory integrity.
  • Associates material movements in Oracle and maintains inventory accuracy.
  • Compiles SKU, quantity, and sub‑inventory records and validates EBS Oracle inventories against physical counts.
  • Prepares reports of inventory balances, shortages, and discrepancies.
  • Organizes warehouse for efficient storage and distribution per supervisor instructions.
  • Maintains accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and annual year‑end physical inventories.
  • Assists in maintaining inventory reports for sub‑organizations, RMAs, HFI’s, and WIP.
  • Identifies expired inventory disposition (SLOB).
  • Maintains product rotation and storage disciplines (FIFO).
  • Maintains positive relationships with all levels of leadership.
  • Accomplishes special projects and other assignments as required by management.
  • Complies with safety rules, GMPs, and all Niagara policies and procedures.
  • Maintains high standards for quality, housekeeping, and productivity.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • 2 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
    • 2 years of experience in a comparable position.
    • No experience managing people or projects required.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • 4 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
    • 4 years of experience in a comparable position.
    • 2 years of experience managing people or projects.

Education
  • Minimum

    Required:

    High School Diploma or GED.
  • Preferred:
    Associate’s Degree.
Certification / License
  • Forklift certification preferred.
Foreign Language
  • Minimum Professional Proficiency required.
