Position: Maintenance Technician (2-2-3 Nights Schedule)

Maintenance Technician (2-2-3 Nights Schedule)

Niagara Bottling is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain equipment uptime through timely troubleshooting and repair on a 2‑2‑3 night shift schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings, and test equipment.
  • Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other facility equipment.
  • Maintain industrial control systems and ensure compliance with plant safety rules.
  • Use and maintain a personal toolbox and basic shop tools.
  • Complete repair work orders, document parts and material usage, and report status throughout shift.
  • Provide technical support and occasionally fill in for production operators.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with machine operators, supervisors, maintenance mechanics, and senior technicians.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a field or similar maintenance environment.
  • Experience managing people or projects (preferred).
  • Valid communication skills across multiple departments.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and process schematics.
  • Skilled in shop equipment and precision measuring tools.
  • Willingness to be a technical leader and trainer within a specific plant area.
  • Own toolbox and basic tools required.
  • Preferred 6 years of experience in manufacturing or bottling industries and familiarity with VFDs, servo drives, HVAC, and PLC systems.
Education
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Associates degree in manufacturing, automation, or related field preferred.
