What You'll Do Manage Daily Assignments
- Log daily warehouse activities
- Suggest possible process improvements
- Work with auditors to ensure that guidelines and procedures are always followed
- Train and follow up with employees
- Administer disciplinary action to direct reports
- Ensure that the warehouse is always clean and free from injuries
- Ensure that the quality, rotation and accuracy policies are always adhered to
- Manage shift change to ensure that they are carried out in an efficient and timely fashion
- Ensure that accurate timely processing of documents occurs
- coach employees who need help
- 9-12 Direct Reports
- 0 Indirect Reports
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience in any of the following:
Supervision, Business, Management - 2 - 4 years Supervisory experience in a warehousing or plant environment
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent Communication skills - written & verbal
- Independent thinking with the ability to make decisions quickly
- Sense of urgency coupled with the ability to proactively solve problems
- Must display initiative and ingenuity
- On the job training regarding Training by HACCP Coordinator
- Teamwork
