Warehouse Supervisor - 3rd Shift

What You'll Do Manage Daily Assignments

• Log daily warehouse activities
• Suggest possible process improvements
• Work with auditors to ensure that guidelines and procedures are always followed
• Train and follow up with employees
• Administer disciplinary action to direct reports

Inspection of Warehouse

• Ensure that the warehouse is always clean and free from injuries
• Ensure that the quality, rotation and accuracy policies are always adhered to
• Manage shift change to ensure that they are carried out in an efficient and timely fashion

Follow-up with Shipping Documents

• Ensure that accurate timely processing of documents occurs
• coach employees who need help

Assisting DC Manager in Security and Fire Safety Issues Supervisory Responsibilities

• 9-12 Direct Reports
• 0 Indirect Reports

Requirements for Success

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience in any of the following:
  Supervision, Business, Management
• 2 - 4 years Supervisory experience in a warehousing or plant environment

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent Communication skills - written & verbal
• Independent thinking with the ability to make decisions quickly
• Sense of urgency coupled with the ability to proactively solve problems
• Must display initiative and ingenuity
• On the job training regarding Training by HACCP Coordinator
• Teamwork
