Bennett & Game are representing a growing and well-established construction consultancy who are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

The successful candidate will join a business delivering Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management and wider construction consultancy services across a varied portfolio of projects. Their work spans multiple sectors, including residential, healthcare, commercial, education and refurbishment, with projects located across London and the wider UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of their own projects while playing a key role within the Ely office. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, support junior team members and help drive the continued development of the team.

Senior Quantity Surveyor

Position Overview
  • Deliver full pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a varied project portfolio
  • Manage projects from initial cost planning and procurement through to final account
  • Prepare estimates, cost plans, tender documentation, Bills of Quantities and cost reports
  • Manage valuations, variations, change control and final account negotiations
  • Attend client, site and commercial meetings and build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Support and mentor junior members of the Quantity Surveying team
  • Travel to project sites and client locations across the UK as required
Senior Quantity Surveyor

Position Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally operating at Senior QS level or ready to step up
  • Main contractor or contractor-side Quantity Surveying experience is highly desirable
  • Strong pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying experience
  • Experience across a range of construction sectors would be advantageous
  • Commercially astute with the ability to manage projects independently
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Able to support, mentor and develop junior members of the team
