Job Type: Full-time, Permanent A growing engineering company based in Ely, Cambridgeshire is looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development of high-precision mechanical systems.
This role offers the opportunity to work on technically advanced products involving precision motion control and vibration isolation systems, taking designs from concept through to production.
The Role As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key part in the design, development and testing of mechanical mechanisms. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet performance, manufacturing and compliance requirements. The role will involve supporting the full product development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through testing, validation and release into production.
Key Responsibilities Design and improve mechanical mechanisms for precision motion control and vibration isolation systems Develop, assemble, test and evaluate theoretical designs using a concurrent engineering approach
