Looking for your first step into Engineering?

We’re recruiting Engineering Apprentice to join our friendly and experienced Engineering team at our Barway site, home to our Babyleaf and Celery operation supplying major UK retailers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those who are curious, practical, and excited to learn how real engineering works in a live production environment.

• Helping diagnose and fix breakdowns on machinery and equipment
• Supporting planned maintenance to keep production lines running smoothly
• Learning how different machines and systems work across the site
• Getting involved in improvement projects to make equipment safer, faster, and more efficient

We want people with the right attitude, not experience, who have an interest in engineering and the motivation to learn.

We are looking for the team player, who enjoys working alongside a wider team, and has the ability to communicate effectively. Whether that be from colleagues to managers and visitors.

Most importantly, we are wanting someone who is curious about engineering and wants to build upon your learning and ask questions.

• Level 3 Manufacturing Engineering Apprenticeship
• College 1 day a week, work on site 4 days a week
• Ongoing support, mentoring, and coaching
• Membership of our Early Careers Community, with development events and activities designed for our young talent population.
