Clark Wood are working with a well-established accountancy practice in Ely who are looking to recruit a Tax Senior to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional with strong personal tax compliance experience, ideally with exposure to trusts and estates, who is keen to develop their technical knowledge and take on more advisory work.

The successful candidate will ideally hold an ATT qualification (or be QBE) and may be looking to progress towards CTA.

Working closely with the Partners and wider tax team, you will be responsible for a varied portfolio of personal tax and compliance work, including:

Capital Gains Tax and UK property CGT returns
Inheritance Tax
Trusts, including Trust Registration Service requirements and IHT matters
Statutory Residence Test reviews
Tax returns for non-resident individuals
Managing compliance deadlines and supporting tax matters across the region

Trust experience would be advantageous, although candidates with a genuine interest in developing their knowledge in this area will also be considered.
