Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Location:

Ely Salary: £40,000-£50,000 Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer required for a corrugated packaging manufacturer based in Ely. The candidate will need be electrical and mechanically skilled and live within a commutable distance. The successful candidate will be expected to have:
Experience in corrugated packaging, paper, FMCG, or high-speed production environments preferred Strong fault-finding and repair skills across:
Electrical systems (3-phase motors, inverters, sensors, control panels) Mechanical systems (bearings, chains, belts, gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics) Working knowledge of PLC systems (e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley) for fault diagnosis Experience maintaining corrugators, die cutters, folder gluers, printers, stackers, or conveyors advantageous Competent with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown response Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer Requirements Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / BTEC or equivalent) Electrical certification (e.g. 18th Edition or equivalent) desirable Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and PLC diagrams
