Salary: £15.46 per hour (includes shift bonus)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 2:35pm – 11:05pm & Friday, 1:05pm – 8:05pm
ISQ Recruitment is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Operative to join a manufacturing team in Ely, Cambridgeshire.
This is a great opportunity for hands‑on individuals with previous manufacturing or production experience who are looking to develop their skills in a modern, high‑tech manufacturing environment. Full training on specialist machinery and processes will be provided, alongside ongoing training and career development opportunities.
What you'll be doing:
- Operating precision manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently
- Producing high-quality components to tight tolerances
- Carrying out quality checks and recording technical measurements accurately
- Maintaining accurate production records and completing associated documentation
- Updating production systems and monitoring product quality throughout the manufacturing process
- Working towards daily production targets while maintaining high standards
- Supporting continuous improvement and problem‑solving activities
- Cross‑training across different manufacturing processes to develop your skills
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or engineering environment
- A practical, hands‑on approach with good mechanical aptitude
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high‑quality work
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- The ability to identify problems and contribute to continuous improvement
- The ability to work the specified afternoon and evening shift pattern
- Monday to Friday working pattern with no weekend shifts
- £15.46 per hour (includes shift bonus)
