Pay: Starting at £14.18 per hour, increasing to £15.45 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with flexible part‑time options down to 12 hours.

As the face of Tesco out on the road, you will deliver groceries from Lands’ End to John O’Groats, meeting customers in their homes each day. This role is more than driving – it’s about providing great service with a smile.

It is hands‑on, physical and full of variety. No two shifts are ever the same, and you’ll act as your own boss while our managers and colleagues support you.

• Ensure the van and trays are clean and organised.
• Keep the back yard tidy and remove any litter.
• Wash trays as part of the tray wash process.
• Load the van and check for roadworthiness.
• Communicate with customers about order changes, substitutions and refunds.
• Treat products and deliveries with care.
• Notify customers before arrival if early.
• Contact the store if running 30+ minutes late.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot.
• Build relationships with colleagues to foster team spirit.
• Welcome customers warmly, show appreciation.
• Respond quickly to changing customer needs.
• Share improvement ideas with manager and colleagues.

• Valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (Full or Automatic) with at least 12 months of driving and no more than 3 penalty points.
