Retail Security Officer

Mitie is hiring a Retail Security Officer for Sainsbury's Ely, Cambridge.

Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring a safe shopping environment free from fear of crime for both customers and colleagues.

• Deliver industry‑leading customer service
• Deter violence and public order offences
• Conduct regular patrols of the store
• Utilise CCTV systems to support crime reduction and stock loss prevention
• Liaise with store management and, where required, local police and crime partnerships
• Wear Body‑Worn CCTV to enhance security and safety for colleagues and customers

• Preferably hold a current SIA licence or SIA certificates (training for a licence may be provided in certain circumstances)
• Full 5‑year checkable employment/education history is required for vetting; failure to provide may result in offer withdrawal or employment termination
