HGV Class 1 Driver – Ely | £18.50/h + £30 Weekly Bonus + Night Out | Temp-to-Perm

A&G Resourcing Ltd are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a temp-to-perm opportunity with an established client in Ely.

Earn £18.50/hour + £30 weekly bonus once permanent + £26.20 per night out!

Why apply?

 * £18.50/h PAYE + holiday allowance

 * £30 weekly bonus once permanent – up to £1,560 extra per year

 * £26.20 per night out, usually around 2 nights per week

* Monday–Friday, averaging 10 hours per day

* Early starts between 05:00 and 06:00

* Business deliveries – no manual unloading required

* Goods are unloaded by the customer at delivery locations

* Temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term prospects

* Immediate start available

Your day-to-day

* Carrying out daily vehicle checks

* Completing approximately 10 business deliveries per day

* Operating curtain-sided vehicles

* Ensuring all loads are safe and secure

* Delivering goods to business customers

* No handballing – unloading is carried out by the client

* Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations

What we're looking for

* Full UK Class 1 driving licence – maximum 3 points

* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

* Minimum 1 year's HGV driving experience

* Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours and WTD regulations

* Willing to do night outs – usually around 2 per week

* Reliable, flexible and professional attitude

* Good communication and customer service skills

Extra earning potential

With around 2 nights out per week, the night-out allowance could add approximately £2,724.80 per year, plus up to £1,560 per year in weekly bonuses once permanent.

That means you could earn up to £4,284.80 extra per year on top of your basic hourly pay.
