Contract Details:

• 181 days + Contracted Holidays
• Base Rate: $15.80 /hour
• Work Day:
  Up to 7 hours
• Start date as determined by Murray Ridge School schedule

Note: Applicant must have a current State of Ohio Educational Aide Permit with ESEA endorsement.

Reports to:

Director of Special Education, Building Principal

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a valid ESEA qualification certificate/license.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Additional qualifications as deemed appropriate and necessary by the Board under law. These qualifications shall not be arbitrary or capricious.

To support the needs of special education students in the educational setting.

• Assist classroom teachers with all activities and assignments.
• Help with the personal hygiene and cleanliness of students in need.
• Work directly with individual students and/or small groups to reinforce material initially introduced by the teacher.
• Assist in performing clerical duties and preparing progress reports as needed.
• Attend staff meetings related to the special education needs of students.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Teacher, Principal, Director of Special Education, or designee.
