Overview

Assessment Coordinator - Part Time

Ross Education is seeking a part‑time Assessment Coordinator to oversee and monitor exams and maintain a secure testing environment for nursing students.

Job Summary

The Coordinator will verify student identities, distribute and collect exam materials, enforce exam rules, and maintain a calm atmosphere. Coordinators also address any issues that may arise during the exam, such as technical difficulties or student misconduct, and may assist with additional administrative tasks as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Set up exam room, distribute materials, verify student identity, and collect completed exams
  • Observe students during exams, present in room at all times to maintain a quiet environment
  • Enforce exam rules and policies
  • Address questions or concerns students may have regarding exam procedures and handle any issues that arise
  • Maintain exam security by preventing unauthorized access to materials and preventing cheating
  • Assist the Associate Director of Nursing with administrative tasks such as prepping student badges, preparing materials, and ordering supplies when students do not arrive on schedule
Benefits
  • Part‑time schedule with up to 20 morning hours; some locations offer an afternoon schedule
  • Weekdays – no evenings or weekends
  • 90‑day evaluation for benefit status if a regular qualifying schedule has been maintained
Qualifications
  • Must not be a current Ross nursing student
  • Equivalent of 1‑year work experience in a customer service or administrative role
  • Ability to read and understand policies and procedures
  • Organizational, communication, and basic computer skills to troubleshoot common system problems, such as logins, passwords, and “stalled” systems
  • Attention to detail and genuinely happy to work face‑to‑face with people
  • Ethical conduct
  • Ability to remain calm and create a quiet and relaxed atmosphere for students who are testing
  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent

Position is on campus and in person.
