Overview
Lorain County Community College (LCCC) is seeking applicants for a full-time professional technical position within the Health and Wellness Sciences division. LCCC is looking for innovative student-centered individuals whose responsibilities include, but are not limited to: teaching clinical and laboratory components of courses across the registered nursing or licensed practical nursing programs; participating in nursing curriculum development and assessment including program review;
advising students and assessing student achievement; participating in college governance; engaging in scholarship and professional growth; and supporting the LCCC mission vision and values. Incumbent must be willing to work some evenings and/or weekends as needed and travel to outreach programs. Must be able to work at various clinical agencies utilized by Lorain County Community College nursing programs.
- Teach clinical and laboratory components of nursing courses (registered nursing or licensed practical nursing programs).
- Participate in nursing curriculum development and assessment including program review.

Qualifications- Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in nursing with current clinical and teaching experience;
Based on the Ohio Nurse Practice Act (Ohio Code 4723-5-01) - Experience for at least two years in the practice of registered nursing;
Applicant must have a current registered nursing license that has no restrictions or board actions;
Applicant must be able to meet all onboarding requirements of various clinical agencies utilized by Lorain County Community College nursing programs. - Preferred Qualifications:
Distance learning experience and certification as a nurse educator preferred.
