Overview

We provide on-board liquid hydrogen energy storage and fuel cell power system integration services to unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) manufacturers. We work with hydrogen suppliers to provide liquid hydrogen refueling services for UAV operators.

NEOEx Systems is working on an Energy and Power System and a Liquid Hydrogen Refueling System, which will revolutionize drone transportation by providing energy and power for longer duration and range operations. We work closely with UAV manufacturers to integrate our energy and power system into their vehicles to increase flight duration.

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment in support of facility operations, product development, and test operations.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and portable cranes; provide rigging for lifting equipment and materials (lifting straps, chain hoists, and other lifting devices).
• Set up and operate machine tools (drill press, chop saw, band saw, pipe threaders, lathes, mills, grinders) and small power tools as needed.
• Read and interpret production drawings and work instructions to assemble components into finished products.
• Lay out and build tubing systems; assist in installation, integration, and operation of ground support equipment and products.
• Fabricate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical control test panels and special test equipment.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate leak detection systems.
• Perform general maintenance on mechanical vacuum pumping equipment, heat exchangers, and cryogenic systems.
• Fabricate, install, and operate cryogenic systems including liquid hydrogen and liquid nitrogen.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are followed at all times.
• Prepare products for shipment; perform maintenance of equipment, work spaces, and operations areas.

• Must be self-motivated and possess strong organizational skills.
• Ability to speak and write proficiently in English.
• Experience using Microsoft applications and hand power tools.
• Basic understanding of environmental test chambers, mass spectrometer leak detectors, high-pressure gas systems, pumps, and vacuum systems.
• Experience using video teleconferencing applications (e.g., Zoom or Teams).
• Ability to hear audible alarms and work with others in a team environment or independently.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; good judgment to maintain workflow continuity.
• Ability to organize time and priorities for maximum effectiveness.
• Ability to lift 20-40 pounds regularly.

• Completion of a 4-year State approved apprenticeship program and/or equivalent vocational school training with sufficient combined work experience and skills.
• Journeyman’s certificate preferred.

• 4+ years of experience as a Journeyman Level Mechanic (maintenance mechanic, machine repair technician).
• Experience in manufacturing and assembly is preferred.
