Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble, Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures in accordance with code compliance using hand and power tools.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment.
• Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects for adjustment and repair.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety of systems.
• Communicate across various levels of the organization to achieve departmental goals.
• Collaborate with manufacturing team to ensure production conformity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, uses and repair/maintenance.
• Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved to make equipment repairs including the ability to use either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes.
• Visualization of how something may look after it is moved or when its parts are moved or rearranged.
• The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (i.e. patterns of numbers, letters, words pictures or mathematical operations).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Journeymen Certificate or equivalent. OSHA ARC Flash Training.
• Heavy manufacturing electrical experience preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• Handle moving objects:
  Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning and moving materials.
• The ability to see details at close and distant range with depth perception and the ability to see colors.
• Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking stooping and handling materials.
• Indoor and outdoor climate conditions during all seasons and in varying temperatures.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
