Work shift:

As a Field Technician at Spectrum, you will be on the front lines, installing and repairing services and educating customers on their use. This entry-level role includes training to help you succeed and opportunities to progress, increase earnings, and build a long-term career.

• Install and repair services for customers.
• Educate customers on the use of services and troubleshoot technical issues in the field.

Field Technicians work outdoors, using hand tools in a variety of environments. Training and on-the-job support help build confidence and skills to solve complex technical issues, with pathways for career progression.

• Education:
  
  High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Schedule:
  
  Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from customer sites and company facilities as necessary
• Language:
  Fluent in English
• Technical skills:
  Proficiency with computers and software applications; competent with hand tools
• Abilities:
  Effective communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, responsibility and reliability
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record per company standards
• Physical:
  Ability to walk over varied terrains, carry tools and equipment, lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders up to 32 feet, work in confined spaces and outdoors in all weather

The base pay for this position is generally between $20.00 and $25.25 per hour. Compensation offered will consider skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Local wage minimums are observed. Some positions may be eligible for incentive-based compensation such as bonuses. Spectrum provides a comprehensive pay and benefits package supporting employee well-being.
