Inventory Accountant

Inventory Staff / Senior Accountant (Retail) — Emeryville, CA (On‑site/hybrid required)

$30.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Make an impact by owning store‑level inventory accuracy and month‑end close. You’ll reconcile multi‑location retail inventories, partner with warehouse and audit teams, and help streamline processes that keep the business running smoothly. If you love Excel and ERP data (Oracle/SAP), this role will give you real ownership and visibility.

• Reconcile inventory across multiple retail locations
• Lead month‑end close for inventory: journal entries, account reconciliations, reporting
• Analyze GL detail to identify issues and post corrective entries
• Process manual inventory transfers in the inventory system
• Build reports and spreadsheets for finance leadership
• Jump in on ad‑hoc tasks and continuous improvement

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
• Advanced Excel; strong ERP experience (Oracle or SAP)
• Collaborative, self‑motivated, accountable; high standards of accuracy
• Willingness to work overtime during close
• On‑site Hybrid schedule required in Emeryville, CA
• Overtime expected during month‑end close
