LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients to fill a Senior Accountant position for the corporate office located in Emeryville, CA. This position is hybrid and will require on‑site work 3 days a week. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant with strong reconciliation skills and SAP experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement continuous process improvements for AR reconciliations.
• Prepare and support year‑end financial reporting and closing procedures.
• Execute SOX control documentation and compliance.
• Conduct advanced data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve complex AR issues.
• Prepare detailed reports for management.
• Work on ad‑hoc project requests that support team‑wide and departmental initiatives.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.
• Software experience with SAP is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of current US GAAP.
• Strong reconciliation skills.
• Strong computer/technical skills (Excel – Advanced).
• Good communication skills (verbal & written).
• Detail‑oriented, analytical, reliable, and organized.
• Team player, with a positive attitude and quick to learn.
• Five years of experience as a Senior Accounting professional (Senior Accountant, Senior AR Accountant, Accounting Manager, Controller).
