Compensation - Competitive and Negotiable
Qualifications:4+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil, sitework, or demolition
Strong ability to read and interpret civil, architectural, and structural plans
Experience preparing conceptual and detailed estimates for self-perform work
Proficiency in estimating software such as HCSS Heavy Bid ,
Bluebeam , and Agtek (preferred)
Familiarity with bid leveling, takeoffs, subcontractor scope reviews, and quantity tracking
Strong communication and organizational skills — able to interface with PMs, field teams, and clients
Must be local to California or willing to relocate; position is 100% onsite
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar field is preferred
Responsibilities:Prepare competitive bids and detailed takeoffs based on RFPs and construction documents
Review specifications, drawings, and site logistics to ensure accurate scoping and pricing
Solicit subcontractor and vendor pricing and evaluate bid coverage
Work closely with operations teams to support pricing strategy and construction means/methods
Participate in job walks, pre-bid meetings, and internal handoffs to project teams
Support change order pricing, budget tracking, and buyout assistance post-award
