JOB DESCRIPTION

Buttrick Projects Architecture+Design (BPA+D) is currently seeking an Architect/Designer with 2-6 years of experience to join our team. This position is full time, in office, with a competitive salary and benefits package. See below for a full list of qualifications and how to apply. Based in Oakland, BPA+D is an award-winning, established practice creating high end residential buildings, as well as interiors and hardscapes crafted to the specific vision of each client and project site. We seek creative and motivated individuals who are eager to participate in the design process at all levels from schematic design through construction. Interested applicants will assist with client presentations, project development and documentation.

• Passion about architectural design and desire to learn about the profession through the development and execution of technically demanding projects.
• Proficiency in MacOS, Sketchup, VRAY, Photoshop, and Office 365. We are a Vectorworks based office for CAD, and use Morpholio for sketching.
• Thoughtful, capable graphic, verbal and writing skills—including capability with a digital or analog pencil.
• Strong design sense and organizational skills.
• Ability to research and implement findings.
• Eagerness to take responsibility for given tasks, willingness to be challenged, and ability to deliver completed work in a timely way.
• Ability to work with others and grow professionally.
• Education:
  
  imminent receipt of, or possession of a BArch or MArch professional degree.
• We are in person 40 hours/week office
