Material Planning Manager

We’re hiring a Material Planning Manager to lead planning for our ready‑to‑drink (RTD) “shakes” category. This role is a key operations leader, accountable for supply plans, factory attainment, network‑wide capacity management, supply‑planner development, and planning process transformation. The manager will lead a team of three Material Planners and optimize product supply and inventory/cash management to support the dynamic needs of the business.
Whatthe role involves Planning & Business Partnering: 45% of Time
- Subject Matter Expert for planning process transformation, training, project meetings, and contract manufacturing (CM) onboarding.
- Category owner leads material planners to optimize raw material inventory to support finished‑good forecasts.
- Facilitate monthly procurement orders for suppliers, adhere to capacity availability, lead times, SKU mix, and minimum order quantities.
- Collaborate with the PNC Sourcing Manager(s) to ensure supplier attainment and develop continuous improvement action plans.
- Lead the Supply Review product category, analyze and communicate relevant information to senior leadership, evaluate scenarios, highlight gaps, and propose solutions.
- Support material planners during regular production meetings with suppliers to ensure strong communication.
- Recommend supplier stock levels and collaborate internally and externally to optimize production schedules.
- Build a strong team through coaching, feedback, training, and effective performance management.
- Create inventory and attainment reports/dashboards and present continuous improvement suggestions.
- Improve MRP plans, ERP system performance and material planning standard work.
- Attend meetings and presentations.
- Participate in company‑wide activities and events.
- Engage in impromptu conversations with colleagues.
- Handle administrivia such as email, calendaring, expense reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in the Consumer‑Packaged Goods (CPG) industry within an MRP environment.
- Experience in inventory control, production scheduling, master scheduling, demand management, capacity management, materials management, or distribution resource planning.
- Training and experience in ERP/DRP/MRP (Integrated Planning Systems) are required.
- Dynamic leadership and ability to develop a high‑performing team.

Expected pay scale for this role is $125,000 to $135,000 (may vary by experience, qualifications, or location).
