Process Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a Process Engineer to support Mondelez International’s bar product portfolio, including CLIF Bar, LUNA Bar, Builders, and ZBar. This individual will partner closely with R&D and manufacturing teams to help scale new products and processes from development into full-scale production, support product and productivity improvements, and identify and address manufacturing risks. They will serve as a key point of contact for manufacturing sites, helping plan and execute plant trials, analyze process data, and support initiatives such as new product scale-ups, new production lines or equipment, site expansion, formula and ingredient testing, and other process improvements.

This role will require travel between manufacturing sites as needed and is ideal for someone with a strong food processing or food manufacturing background who is comfortable working cross-functionally in a plant environment.

• 3–5 years of engineering experience, ideally within Process Engineering
• Food processing or food manufacturing experience
• Experience supporting R&D/product development and scaling products or processes into commercial manufacturing
• Experience partnering with R&D and manufacturing teams to support plant trials, troubleshoot processes, and identify manufacturing risks
• Comfortable with travel and flexible hours as needed to support manufacturing trials
• Bar manufacturing experience
• Experience with formula, ingredient, or process-change trials
• Experience supporting new manufacturing lines, equipment implementation/commissioning, or facility/site expansions
