Health & Wellness Nurse; LVN or RN

Overview

Company Health & Wellness Nurse (LVN or RN) – a contract role located in Emeryville, CA. This solo nurse provides monthly blood draws and other minor acute care services for employees of a well‑known corporation. Shift is typically the 2nd Tuesday of each month, but may fluctuate depending on scheduling.

• Perform blood draws – anywhere from 2–3 per shift or up to 10–15 per shift.
• AED and cyanokit checks.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments.
• Provide wellness materials and information for employee health concerns.

• Active or unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of California.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a medical professional.
• Ideally previous experience in occupational or employee health, emergency or urgent care, primary or family medicine, school nursing, or corrections settings.
• Must have great phlebotomy skills.
• BLS certified.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and confident working autonomously.
• Open to learning to use the EMR system, Next Gen.
• Professional, dedicated, friendly, and helpful employee.
• Be able to work ongoing until further notice – at least 1 shift a month between Monday and Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, typically the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
