Overview

Oxide has built a vertically integrated, rack-level cloud computer, delivering the efficiencies, automation, and developer experience of the cloud in a form that businesses can own. Oxide is hiring for Field Sales in Technology to build relationships with customers, develop and negotiate agreements, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

• Work closely with existing and prospective customers; build deep relationships across the organization, determine their needs, and construct the appropriate solution.
• Develop a strong pipeline of new prospective customers through independent outreach, researching to ensure engaging with Oxide will be time well spent.
• Drive the entire sales process from early outreach through successful deployment; partner with other teams on training, enablement, and customer success.
• Develop and negotiate contracts with customers, working with legal to create mutually beneficial agreements.
• Thoroughly document feedback from customers and collaborate with internal teams to drive product and service improvements.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

• 8+ years in Enterprise Sales roles at infrastructure, cloud, or systems vendors supporting High Tech, Web, or hyperscale customers.
• Strong sense of responsibility for customer project success and ability to measure outcomes in customer terms.
• Curiosity about the companies you work with and understanding what makes their businesses thrive and the challenges they face.
• Deep understanding of the product, from high-level benefits to technical details.
• Interest in a wide range of technical topics and ability to dig deeply into them.
• Comfort with colleagues who are passionate about older computing technologies.

• Remote first with overlap to Pacific Time for at least four hours; most team members are based outside the Bay Area.

This role consists of base salary + commission. Other roles at Oxide provide a $235,000 USD target with no commission component (location-independent).
