You will support the execution of live sensory studies: setting up, maintaining and cleaning the testing rooms used for descriptive panels, discrimination tests and consumer research; and preparing, portioning and labelling the product samples that panellists evaluate. Accuracy matters more than speed here, because a mislabelled sample invalidates a study.

Pay is $21.00 to $23.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. The role is temporary and part-time, and is non-exempt, so overtime is paid.

This is an unusually good fit if you are studying food science, nutrition, biology or another lab-based subject and want real experience of working to food-grade lab standards. It is equally open to anyone organised and careful.

Requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent, strong verbal and written communication, good organisation and attention to detail, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and the ability to work safely in a food-grade laboratory.### Requirements
