Responsibilities
- Field observations at jobsites in the Lehigh Valley (Emmaus, PA).
- Sampling and testing of construction materials including soil, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel.
- Preparing accurate daily logs that outline inspections and test results.
- Daily communication with project manager or operations manager regarding project progress and contractor updates.
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and satisfactory driving record.
- Must meet additional pre‑employment criteria.
- Ability to lift and/or move 60–80 pounds.
- Ability to work in all outdoor climates and mobilize over varied terrain.
- Attention to detail and quality, adherence to safety requirements.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Use of company‑provided tablet and working knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to perform basic math and use measurement tools.
- With training, ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Hiring preference will be given to experienced technicians with verifiable certifications such as ACI, NICET, WACEL, etc.
