Job Summary:

A provider-based Rural Health Clinic located in Emporia, Kansas. As a Rural Health Clinic, physicians have additional resources to care for high-risk patients, including access to lower-cost medications for our uninsured or underinsured patients and chronic disease management services.

Additional income opportunities are available for those interested in assisting with hospitalist coverage on weekends and covering vacations.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality direct patient care and remain current with advancements in general internal medicine.

Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining proficiency in the use of informational systems required for patient care (Meditech).Perform minor office procedures and hospital outpatient procedures.

Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers in the clinic.

Participate in a clinic call (phone only) schedule with a rotation of 1:5.Benefits:
