Twelfth Avenue Baptist Church is located in Emporia, Kansas, on the edge of the celebrated Flint Hills, known for its unique beauty and down-to-earth people. The church has strong ties with Emporia State University students and a strong emphasis on international missions. Our mission statement is “We long to become a biblical community of Kingdom people who are joining God in the restoration of all things one person, one place at a time.”

The church has a strong missional emphasis and is committed to the development of deep, devout disciples within the congregation. Twelfth Avenue Baptist Church is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, although it is a church with many diverse backgrounds and has a non‑denominational church feel.
