Care Arc is accepting applications for a full-time Technology Support Specialist to join our IT team. The Technology Support Specialist position installs, modifies and makes repairs to the company technology hardware and software systems, and provides technical advice and support to system users.

• Assists users with software, hardware, and connectivity issues.
• Responsible for the installation configuration, administration, maintenance, backup, security and monitoring of all technology systems.
• Installs hardware and components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, scanners and peripherals.
• Loads appropriate software packages such as operating systems, networking components and office applications.
• Responsible for problem resolution of applications, hardware, network, and other technical issues via phone, email, and in-person.
• Refers major hardware problems to the IT Administrator or 3rd party vendors.
• Notifies immediate supervisor of any potentially critical issues after extensive troubleshooting.
• Provides updates, status and completion information to manager and/or users, via ticketing system, voice mail, e-mail or in-person communication.
• Maintain and document all logs, network activity, troubleshooting and help desk requests.
• Maintain and document job aids, manuals and user training resources.
• Available after hours to perform maintenance and emergency technology systems issues.

• Associate degree preferred;
  Field of Study:
  Information Technology or other technology field of study
• 1‑2 years of experience in an IT‑related position
