Surgical Technologist - Encinitas

This is a full-time (36 hrs/week) position at Scripps Encinitas, working from 6:30am to 7pm, with 1-3 monthly call shifts. Bonus eligibility is included.*

We invite you to join our highly engaged team  Surgical Techs ensure operating rooms are prepared for surgery, including all case-specific supplies and equipment being sterile and ready. They monitor the sterile field throughout procedures, scrub for cases, and anticipate the needs of the physician and operating team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• One year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to multi-task and work well in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CST preferred.
