$20.50/hr – $24.00/hr

• Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy and other Pharmacy Department duties per company policy.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and enter correct data. If PTCB certified, coach other technicians and cashiers in system operations.
• Provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience: greet customers, offer assistance, resolve issues, and share best practices.
• Maintain pharmacy standards: verify medications, count/pour drugs, check for interactions, and report errors immediately.
• Assist with scheduling, workflow, and inventory management (ordering, unpacking, checking shipments).
• Handle cash register duties, process telephone calls, and manage OTC aisle as needed.
• Support clinical services, including sample collection and coordination with Walgreens healthcare clinics.
• Participate in training, maintain PTCB certification, and complete continuing education.
• Adhere to company policies, conduct, and safety procedures.

Basic qualifications:

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred qualifications:

• At least six months of retail experience.
• Prior experience with Walgreens.
• Strong math, computer, and store inventory skills.
• PTCB certification.
