• Perform medication set-up and assist residents with the self‑administration of their medications.
• Record and assist with medications as ordered by physicians and/or at the direction of the RN and RSD.
• Provide medication assistance documentation per policy and state requirements, including:
  • Document medication assistance on Medication Assistance Records (MARs) immediately after assistance
  • Leave no blanks on MARs
  • Document reasons for PRN medication on reverse of MARs and effectiveness of medication
• Have a criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community.
• Pass all health screens such as Physical, TB, drug test.
• Have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
