Overview of role:
The Wellness Coordinator at Belmont Village manages the clinical and care aspects of the community while supporting the Director of Nursing in wellness initiatives, regulatory compliance, and quality monitoring. The position requires a licensed nurse (LVN, LPN, or RN) and responsibilities include coordinating medical staff, administering medication, supervising care staff, ensuring resident care plans are followed, reporting to physicians, and maintaining clinical documentation.

This is a fast‑paced, physically active role that values empathy, reliability, and a growth‑mindset.

Schedule
:
Tuesday‑Saturday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Typical Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day‑to‑day operations of the community Wellness Center
  • Follow up on physicians' orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers, and report to physicians and families any changes of condition or other pertinent clinical care information
  • Administer medication to an assigned group of residents according to physicians' orders and report any adverse reactions or clinical observations documenting as necessary
  • Ensure resident care and service plans are followed by supervising Medication Technicians and Caregivers
  • Make appropriate situational decisions and manage conflict resolution constructively
  • Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports
  • Assist the Director of Resident Care Services in regulatory compliance and enhancing resident satisfaction
  • Assist in maintaining and training of infection control and hazard communication programs
Minimum Qualifications
  • Active LVN or LPN nursing license in the state where the community is located
  • CPR certified (or willing to obtain certification within 30 days of hire)
  • Minimum one year of medication administration experience preferred
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Intermediate computer and mobile device skills
  • Professional, pleasant, and team‑oriented attitude
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees
