American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring OR circulator experience for c-sections and Fetal Monitoring/AWHONN Advanced certification.
Requirements- Active CA RN license in hand at time of consideration (Temp or Perm, no EMSA)
- Current BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring/AWHONN Advanced certifications (issued within 2 years, AHA for BLS)
- Minimum 2 years of concurrent experience in Labor and Delivery specialty
- 1.5 years of continuous experience in specialty with no breaks (unless floating or demonstrating equivalent experience with same ratios)
- Travel experience required, with 1 year total travel experience and 6+ months of continuous travel experience leading up to consideration
- EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience required within the last 6 months
- 1 supervisory-level professional reference required
- Interview availability required, including 3 specific days and times with time zone
- Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- 13-week assignment length
- No call requirements
- OR circulator experience for c-sections required
- Floating requirements may apply depending on unit needs, to be discussed during interview
- Provide direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit, including OR circulating duties for cesarean sections
- No first-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Previous permanent staff may return after 1 year; returning travelers may return after 1 year
- Maximum 7 days RTO permitted, with no additional RTO requests after consideration
- Local candidates within a 100-mile radius are not eligible, except for LVNs/MAs
- Candidates on assignment in San Diego for 9+ months or more are considered local and are not eligible
