Security Officer - Varied - Encinitas

This is a full-time, varied shift position located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.

The Security Officer supports Scripps Health through the performance of duties which provide a reasonably safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, employees, medical staff, and property. Is a visible deterrent to criminal activity and actively patrols assigned areas. Ensures policies and procedures are carried out and reports non-compliance. Responds to emergency situations and when appropriate provides guidance for the safe management of the situation, communicating with leadership as necessary.

Work is accomplished under the direction of security leadership. Demonstrates a work style that reflects the mission, vision, and values of Scripps Health.
