Under general supervision, coordinate pickup and delivery of equipment and materials to job sites. Act as a laborer when required and operate construction equipment including forklift, tractors, backhoe, roller, skid steer, and trenchers.

• At least 1 year of construction equipment operation experience.
• CDL Class A driver’s license with a 2‑year clean DMV record.

• Deliver and pick up equipment and materials to specific job sites.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain communication with supervisor regarding deliveries.
• Inspect truck, equipment, and supplies for safety compliance.
• Perform routine maintenance on truck.
• Safely operate a variety of construction equipment, including forklift, tractors, backhoe, roller, skid steer, and trenchers.
• Serve as a laborer on construction job sites, performing manual tasks such as grading, planting, shoveling, and other duties as directed.
• Transport heavy equipment (truck and trailer combinations, water truck, backhoe, gang mower, bobcat, trencher, skip loader with bucket, and crane truck) for landscape operations.
• Inspect equipment daily to ensure proper and safe operation.
• Assist with landscape installation.
• Operate, care for, and maintain all hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment related to the trade.
• Apply methods and techniques for handling, storing, and delivering materials and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as directed.

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Construction landscaping experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is useful.

The physical demands of this position include:

• Constantly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand, and walk.
• Requires good near and far vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Frequent use of hands to manipulate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Perform duties outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 lb. of weight frequently during the day.
• Ability to repeatedly bend, stoop, lift, push, and pull materials and equipment.
• Ability to work in various positions (standing, walking, stooping, bending, sitting, kneeling, squatting) for extended periods.
