Join A.L. Fortune Secondary School as a temporary teacher for Explorations, serving students in grades 7 and 8. This role starts immediately and runs until January 27, 2027.
As a temporary Secondary Teacher, you will interact with students in language explorations while engaging them through innovative teaching methods. This position requires a valid BC teaching certificate and a relevant Bachelor’s degree, ensuring that the candidate possesses the necessary academic and practical background in teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach language Exploration courses to grades 7/8
• Determine additional block assignments with administration
• Create an engaging and collaborative classroom environment
• Implement varied teaching and assessment strategies
• Foster parental involvement in student education
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Arts or Education with a Secondary focus
• Valid BC teaching certification
• Proven secondary teaching experience
• Familiarity with current subject curriculum
• Strong collaboration skills with educational staff
Contribute to the educational success of students at A.L. Fortune Secondary School through effective teaching and support.
