Welfare & Attendance Officer School Administrator Enfield Immediate Start 8:30am-4:00pm
Are you an experienced school administrator with a strong understanding of pupil welfare and attendance?
Reeson Education is recruiting for a Welfare & Attendance Officer to join a primary school in Enfield, North London, on a full-time basis.
The school is looking for someone who can hit the ground running, is confident working within a busy school environment and understands the importance of attendance, welfare and safeguarding.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Welfare & Attendance Officer, you will be responsible for a range of attendance, welfare and administrative duties, including:
- Managing daily pupil attendance records
- Monitoring attendance and punctuality
- Following up unexplained absences
- Communicating with parents and carers regarding attendance
- Supporting the school's attendance improvement procedures
- Recording pupil welfare information accurately
- Responding to pupils who are unwell or require first aid
- Providing appropriate support for minor injuries and illnesses
- Liaising with teachers, senior leaders and families
- Maintaining confidential pupil records
- Supporting the school's safeguarding and welfare procedures
The successful candidate must have previous school experience and ideally have worked within a primary school office, welfare or attendance environment.
You will also need- Previous UK school experience - essential
- First Aid qualification
- Paediatric First Aid training - essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- A calm and approachable manner
- Confidence communicating with parents and staff
- An understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
- The ability to work independently and prioritise effectively

8:30am - 4:00pm
