The Job:Our client is looking to hire a Commercial Executive responsible for managing manufacturer relationships across fertiliser, seed, crop protection and wider agricultural inputs. This role focuses on supply chain management, strategic purchasing, annual negotiations and supporting commercial planning. You will engage with manufacturers and distributors, negotiate supply agreements, monitor product performance, manage pricing structures and ensure availability across peak seasons. Working closely with trading, operations, procurement and field teams.
You will support product selection, margin strategy and commercial decision-making. This role suits someone who enjoys the commercial side of the industry — negotiation, strategy, supplier engagement and forecasting.
A long standing agricultural inputs business with strong supplier partnerships, solid financial performance and a high reputation across UK farming sectors.
The Candidate:- Experience in agricultural inputs, supply chain, procurement, or commercial functions
- Strong negotiation skills and confidence dealing with manufacturers
- Good understanding of arable markets and input product categories
- Commercially minded — comfortable working with pricing, contracts, and planning
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across departments and support business-wide commercial strategy
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
