About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of district heating infrastructure projects in Enfield
.

The Site Manager will take responsibility for the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of projects from construction through to completion and handover. You will manage site teams, subcontractors and specialist contractors while working closely with the Project Manager, Client and wider project stakeholders.

Main Duties
  • Manage projects from construction through to completion and handover.
  • Lead and manage site teams including Supervisors, Engineers and site operatives.
  • Coordinate direct labour, subcontractors and specialist contractors.
  • Monitor project progress against programme and forward plan upcoming works.
  • Develop, maintain and update construction programmes.
  • Review work packages and ensure the scope of works is clearly understood.
  • Chair regular site meetings and maintain accurate records of actions and decisions.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants and other stakeholders.
  • Manage specialist subcontractors, including NDT providers where required.
  • Ensure RAMS are in place, suitable for the works and communicated to the workforce.
  • Ensure project plans, risk assessments and method statements are implemented.
  • Coordinate procurement of plant, materials and resources.
  • Maintain detailed site diaries and project records.
  • Monitor production targets, programme performance and quality standards.
  • Identify project risks and opportunities and report these to the Project Manager.
  • Work with the Project QS to support additional works, estimates and contractual requirements.
  • Ensure all required handover documentation is completed accurately.
  • Lead by example in promoting high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, CDM regulations and relevant legislation.
  • Conduct and review risk assessments for site activities.
  • Ensure safe systems of work are implemented and followed.
  • Ensure employees and subcontractors are suitably trained and competent.
