This part-time, temporary role is perfect for someone who enjoys working closely with children, particularly those who may need additional support. The school has a strong community feel, supportive leadership, and a commitment to inclusive practice, ensuring every child is given the opportunity to thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Role

As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils in class, in small groups, and on a one-to-one basis

• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation

• Provide targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

• Help create a calm, positive, and engaging learning environment

• Support pupils’ confidence, independence, and progress

The Ideal Candidate

You will:

• Have experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in KS2

• Be patient, adaptable, and nurturing

• Show a strong understanding of inclusion and SEN support

• Work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with staff

• Be reliable and committed during term time hours (8:30am–3:30pm)
