Are you an experienced Key Stage 1 SEN TA looking for a rewarding role in a supportive primary school?

Do you have experience supporting pupils with non-verbal communication and complex needs?

Are you confident supporting personal care, including nappy changing, and creating a safe, nurturing environment?

The Role:

Key Stage 1 SEN TA

This Key Stage 1 SEN TA role is based in a welcoming primary school in Enfield and is available for an immediate start. The successful Key Stage 1 SEN TA will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils in Key Stage 1 with complex needs, including pupils who are non-verbal.

As a Key Stage 1 SEN TA, you will provide 1:1 and small group support, help pupils access the curriculum, and support their emotional, social, and communication development. The role may involve personal care and nappy changing, so the school is open to candidates with nursery or early years experience.

Requirements for the Key Stage 1 SEN TA role:

* Experience as a Key Stage 1 SEN TA or similar SEN support role

* Experience supporting non-verbal pupils and complex needs

* Willingness to support personal care / nappy changing

* Nursery or early years experience welcomed

* A caring, proactive, and resilient approach
