SEN Teaching Assistant – SEMH Secondary | Enfield (EN3)
Full-Time | Long-Term | Starting ASAP After Half Term
We are currently recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEMH secondary school in Enfield from immediately after the half term break. This role involves supporting KS3 and KS4 students with social, emotional and mental health needs. You will play a key role in helping students manage behaviour, engage with learning and develop positive coping strategies within a structured and supportive environment.
Hours:
8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Provide consistent in‑class support and targeted 1:1 interventions as required.
- Assist students in managing challenging behaviour and developing positive coping strategies.
- Collaborate with teaching and pastoral teams to promote a supportive learning environment.
- Previous experience working within SEMH or behaviour‑focused settings.
- Confidence in supporting students with challenging behaviour.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Reliability, resilience and commitment to full‑time, long‑term service.
