Modelling outstanding English teaching across KS3KS5 Leading on curriculum refinement and evidence-based pedagogy Using assessment data to drive measurable pupil progress Coaching and mentoring teachers to secure consistently strong outcomes Contributing to whole-school teaching and learning strategy The school is looking for an English Lead Practitioner who:
Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Has a strong academic background, ideally a 2:1 or above from a reputable or Russell Group university Demonstrates substantial, successful UK secondary teaching experience with clear impact on outcomes Has delivered structured lessons within established behaviour frameworks Can evidence measurable progress at GCSE and A-Level Is legally entitled to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available) Outer London MPS: £37,870 £ 50,474 (UPS up to £56,154).
