Science Teacher – Enfield

Milk Education are working in partnership with a high-achieving and inclusive secondary school in Enfield to appoint an ambitious Science Teacher for a September start. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Science Teacher to join a well-established department that is committed to delivering engaging lessons and achieving outstanding outcomes for students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The successful Science Teacher will inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for the sciences, delivering high-quality lessons that develop students’ knowledge, practical skills and scientific understanding. The school has a strong reputation for academic excellence, high expectations and a broad curriculum that encourages students to become confident, independent learners.

The Role:
  • Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Working as a Science Teacher to inspire a love of Biology, Chemistry and Physics
  • Creating a stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity and achievement
  • Delivering practical investigations safely and effectively
  • Preparing students for GCSE examinations and supporting strong academic outcomes
  • Assessing, monitoring and tracking student progress
  • Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Contributing to departmental development and wider school initiatives
The Ideal Candidate :
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
  • Ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Commitment to raising attainment and student achievement
  • ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply

Essential Requirements:
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Two professional references covering the last two years
  • Recent experience teaching Science within UK secondary schools
