1:1 Teaching Assistant

Are you a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Ortus Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team and support a child in Year 4 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

This is an immediate-start position based in Croydon.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday (8:30 am to 4 pm) | Term Time Only Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support to a child in Year 4 with ASD and ADHD Follow and implement the child's personalised timetable to address specific needs Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to deliver effective interventions Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment tailored to the child's developmental needs Requirements:
Proven experience working with children with ASD and ADHD Understanding of the challenges associated with SEN Relevant teaching assistant qualifications Ability to adapt and follow a personalised timetable for the child Strong communication and collaboration skills Patient and empathetic approach to working with children SEN-specific training and certifications are highly desirable Benefits: £89 to £130 per day PAYE (No Umbrella Companies: no hidden fees/deductions) Opportunity to gain invaluable experience in a primary school setting Opportunity to achieve permanent contracts (temp to perm) Partnership with Holiday Camps for extra earnings This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a dedicated individual with a background in SEN.
